The Mercury Hercules floor buffer is the primary piece of this wood floor sanding package, and has a powerful induction motor that is totally enclosed. Tiny particles from sanding, will not be able to enter the sealed motor and slowly wear it out. This ensures that the brushes in the motor will last their entire life cycle! Always be sure to provide adequate ventilation during sanding and refinishing.

When used as a floor sanding machine, the Hercules produces such a smooth finish that it actually eliminates common steps found with the drum or belt sanding methods.

To attach sand screens, which are sold separately, we recommend attaching a to the driver, and then the sand screen to the white pad. This white pad will help prevent the pad driver from ruining your floor since the sand screens are so thin.

Even though we tout this machine as a dry floor sander, it can also be used wet to accomplish normal everyday tasks, such as stripping commercial floors.
